Welcome to Irrea
Magic sleeps. Shadows stir. And a reluctant heroine walks between both.
Before There Was a Story, There Was a World
When I started writing Chaos of the Stars, I began with a simple idea of who, what, and where this story would go.
I wanted to build a land that felt ancient and broken. A world scarred by the absence of the divine… but still pulsing with echoes of magic.
Because in so many ways, that’s the world I’ve known in real life.
And that’s the world my characters are trying to survive—and maybe, one day, redeem.
Key Locations in the Kingdom of Irrea
Let me take you on a short tour of the places that shaped this story:
🌲 The Irrean Forest
This isn’t your typical enchanted woodland.
The Irrean Forest is a living remnant of an older world - a kingdom where the veil between magic and mortality runs thin.
Trees bend as though listening. The air is dense with looming threats. And every path through it is both a pilgrimage and a gamble.
No one emerges from the forest unchanged.
👑Lymeria
The king’s city. Order in the midst or ruin. Salvation in the face of death.
To the common people, Lymeria is a sanctuary. Guarded by the banks of the river and overseen by the king’s palace, Elaren. It offers a fragile sense of stability in a world that has fallen into ruin.
But safety here is carefully curated.
Beneath its polished wood and jubilation.
🌳 Elaren
The palace hidden inside a tree that remembers the beginning.
Elaren is carved into the living trunk of a mythical tree older than the kingdom itself. Its roots reach deeper than the island it sits on. Its branches—visible from the top of the cliffs but hidden from the world beyond.
✍️ From the Writer’s Desk
Building this world wasn’t just about fantasy aesthetics or epic battles.
It was about asking deeper questions:
What happens when faith hangs on by a hope’s thread?
What does it mean to rebuild when the foundation feels cursed?
Can a story still shine when it’s born from ruins?
This world is fierce.
But it’s also laced with beauty.
Because even in the wreckage, there is wonder.
Even in the chaos, there is a remnant worth protecting.
