Writing with Vision: How I’m Preparing My Stories (and Heart) for 2026
The end of the year always makes me pause. Not just to look back at what’s happened, but to look ahead at what’s coming.
For me, 2025 has been a year of deepening—finishing Chaos of the Stars, sending it through beta readers, and beginning the early steps of Book 3. Each stage stretched me, tested me, and reminded me of this truth: writing isn’t just about finishing projects—it’s about preparing for what’s next.
📚Preparing My Stories for the New Year
Here’s where my writing is headed as we step into 2026:
Chaos of the Stars (Book 2) → With the publication date coming soon (hello 2026), I’ll be diving into final edits and formatting.
Book 3 of the Soul of the Stars series → This one holds my heart right now. Maleah’s journey into Sha’har is becoming one of the more fun books I’ve written thus far.
Future ideas stirring → Even as I work on this series, other story sparks are whispering, waiting for their moment. I’m capturing notes and trusting their time will come.
Each of these projects asks for vision,;and I want to give them the time they deserve.
🌿 Preparing My Heart for What’s Ahead
But vision isn’t only about story arcs; it’s about soul work.
Slowing down → Choosing stillness instead of rushing so I can hear God’s leading for each project.
Renewing my commitment → Remembering why these stories matter and why I was called to write them.
Staying accountable → Inviting community into the process, because writing is too heavy to carry alone.
🌟An Invitation for You
As you step into a new year, I want you to ask yourself:
👉 What story am I preparing to write in 2026?
👉 What rhythms or support do I need to make that possible?
👉 What vision do I want to carry into the next chapter of my writing journey?
Because just like me, you don’t have to rush. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You simply need vision—and the willingness to keep showing up.
🚪What’s Coming Next Week
As I prepare my stories and my heart for 2026, I’ve also been preparing something for you.
Next week, the doors open to a brand-new community, Pen to Purpose Society, where you’ll find support, rhythms, and encouragement to step into the year ahead with vision.
We’ll walk into 2026 together—not sprinting, but building foundations that last.
